Designed around a family that loves to cook, host and spend time together, this home by Maya Sheinberger was completely reorganized to create generous shared spaces alongside functional private areas. The kitchen was relocated and expanded to become the heart of the apartment, centered around a large marble island with seating on three sides and complemented by a separate pantry. A glass partition defines the adjacent home office while maintaining a visual connection to the living and dining areas, and extensive custom storage is integrated throughout the home. Smoked oak herringbone flooring, natural marble, black veneer and iron establish a warm yet graphic material language, softened by touches of pink, blue and camel. From the conversation-oriented living room to the dark, spa-inspired primary bathroom and individually designed children’s rooms, the interior reflects the rhythms of a family home built around connection, entertaining and everyday life.
