Maya Sheinberger transformed this compact apartment through a complete reconfiguration of its original layout, creating a flexible home that maximizes space, natural light and storage. The enclosed balcony was reopened, while a dedicated workspace and wardrobe area were introduced without compromising the sense of openness. Custom carpentry plays a central role throughout the apartment, integrating concealed storage and a double-sided unit that separates the kitchen and living area. Sliding doors create flexible boundaries between public and private spaces, allowing the home to adapt to different daily needs. Smoked oak, natural stone, exposed concrete and large-format gray flooring create a warm yet contemporary material palette. Carefully planned built-ins and distinctive details — from the turquoise workspace to the red stone bathroom vanity — give the compact interior a strong identity while maintaining a clean, cohesive feel.
