Maya Sheinberger transformed the apartment from its original blueprint into a functional, contemporary family home, rethinking the layout to improve flow, maximize storage and create flexible spaces that can evolve with the family. At the heart of the design is a 10-meter-long custom blue carpentry wall that runs through the public areas, integrating extensive storage, a media center, concealed systems and a hidden entrance to the children’s playroom. The open-plan living space connects to a white kitchen with a generous island, while a concealed laundry area maintains the home’s clean, uncluttered character. Whitewashed oak flooring, bold blue cabinetry and accents of black and gray create a distinctive yet balanced palette. From the hidden LEGO playroom to the private bedrooms and bathrooms, every element combines minimalist design with practical solutions tailored to everyday family life.
