Overlooking the Mediterranean, this Tel Aviv apartment was renovated by interior designer Maya Sheinberger as a bright, contemporary vacation home for a family living abroad. Rather than changing the existing layout, the renovation focused on updating the interiors while making the most of the apartment’s natural light, sea views and distinctive architecture. Fishbone-patterned wood flooring brings warmth and visual continuity to the angled floor plan, while a restrained palette of white and soft gray keeps the interior light and understated. The redesigned kitchen combines matte gray cabinetry with marble-textured surfaces and a central island for cooking and casual family meals, opening toward a dining area framed by views of the sea. Soft pink and blue accents introduce subtle color throughout the home, continuing into the bedrooms and custom-designed storage. The result is a relaxed, modern Tel Aviv interior that allows the Mediterranean setting to remain the defining element of the space.
