Bold color and graphic contrasts define this two-level apartment by interior designer Maya Sheinberger, designed for a mother and daughter around a predominantly black-and-white palette punctuated by vivid blue and yellow. At the center of the home, a sculptural blue staircase with a glass balustrade connects the main living floor to an upper workspace and expansive roof terrace. A former hallway wall was replaced by multifunctional custom cabinetry that conceals storage and building systems while becoming the media wall facing the living room. Black built-in units throughout the apartment create a strong architectural framework against crisp white walls. Flexible planning allows the home to evolve over time: the playroom and upper-floor workspace can both become additional bedrooms as needs change. Upstairs, the large roof terrace extends the living space outdoors, with distinct areas for dining, lounging and entertaining. The result is a playful yet timeless Tel Aviv duplex where bold color, integrated storage and adaptable spaces give minimalism a more expressive character.
