Maya Sheinberger transformed the apartment into a calm and refined family home while preserving its original layout, focusing instead on custom carpentry, materials, lighting and carefully selected furniture. A multifunctional cabinet wraps around an existing structural column, creating generous concealed storage while integrating the washing machine and forming a backdrop for the dining area. Custom elements continue throughout the home, including a bespoke media wall and a functional home office. Oak flooring, soft grays and contrasting black and white are balanced by warm terracotta accents, creating a cohesive material palette across the kitchen, living areas and private spaces. The same design language extends into the bedrooms and bathrooms, while a softly detailed nursery was created for the couple’s first baby — resulting in a warm, functional and understated interior designed for a growing family.
