Maya Sheinberger redesigned this outdated four-bedroom apartment into a warm, contemporary home for a young couple starting a family. The renovation focused on creating a brighter, more open interior while adapting the existing space to their everyday needs. The kitchen was relocated and completely redesigned, while the primary suite was reconfigured with a glass and steel partition connecting the bedroom and bathroom. Custom elements, including a black iron shelving system in the living room, were designed alongside a dedicated home office, nursery and new bathrooms. Fishbone oak flooring runs throughout the home, paired with white and gray surfaces, black metal details and subtle touches of color. The restrained material palette and carefully planned layout create a modern, functional interior that feels open, relaxed and cohesive.
