COMPASS ON THE LAKE

Compass on the Lake is a new neighborhood of 29 villas on a private street in Balotești, north of Bucharest, set between forests and lakes. Maya Sheinberger designed the interiors of the semi-detached villas for developer Compass Group Romania. Each home opens onto one generous space where living, dining and kitchen flow together, facing a private garden and filled with natural light throughout the day. Dark wood kitchen joinery, warm stone-look surfaces and light oak parquet create a calm, neutral palette, while soft indirect lighting shapes a quiet evening atmosphere. Upstairs, two bedrooms, a study and boutique-style bathrooms continue the same language of natural textures and understated minimalism. The project is currently under construction.
